DFL Chairman Ken Martin’s Statement on March for Our Lives
[ST. PAUL, MN] – Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party Chairman Ken Martin today released the following statement in honor of the thousands of people marching in Minnesota and across the country to demand commonsense gun reform.
“Enough is enough. The DFL stands in solidarity with the courageous students in Minnesota and across the country today marching against gun violence.”
“Young people are rising up to take action where adults have failed them. Their demand is simple: the right to be safe in their classrooms. They will not be intimidated by the NRA. They want commonsense gun reform, and they want it now.”
“These students are not just the future of our country, they are the present. They have a message. It’s past time we listen.”
