DFL Statewide Training Tour: Photo Update!

For the past few weeks, DFL staff have been traveling across Minnesota on a Training Tour to empower our volunteers and activists with the organizing skills they need to help us win in 2020!

Our fantastic group of trainers stopped in St. Cloud to talk to DFLers about the work we can be doing right now to set ourselves and our candidates up for success in next year’s elections!

DFLers in Mankato learned all about volunteer recruitment and how to talk about yourself and tell your own story to motivate and empower others. The stakes of this next election are huge and our team is working hard to ensure our organizing program is firing on all cylinders!

Our staff was really excited to travel to Marshall, where we’re working to build an army of grassroots volunteers who have experience organizing and are ready to beat Donald Trump, re-elect Tina Smith, send a DFL delegation to Washington and St. Paul!

Our Training Tour has helped connect DFLers in each community so everyone can work together to elect strong progressives up and down the ticket. The response we’ve gotten has been terrific so far. Folks are excited to engage voters on the issues that matter to their communities!

Our training team had a great time in Golden Valley last night. Later on this week, they’ll be stopping by Northfield because there are no more off years! We need to be organizing year-round to fight for better health care, safer communities, and a greener future for Minnesota!

During the northern swing of the tour which included stops in Moorhead, Bemidji, and Duluth, our trainers had a blast stopping by some of Minnesota’s must see locations, including Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox and Itasca State Park!

One of the biggest reasons the DFL has been successful in recent elections is the enthusiasm of our grassroots volunteers. We truly are a people-powered party, that’s why we’re so thrilled to be on the road training the DFL grassroots across Minnesota!
