“It has been 28 years since Minnesota last conducted a presidential primary, and with this filing, we have an unprecedented and historic number of candidates who have qualified to represent our party on the presidential primary ballot. Minnesota voters have the opportunity to choose between 15 highly qualified candidates for the Democratic nomination, any one of whom would make a better president than Donald Trump.
“The DFL will continue to run a clean, fair, and transparent primary process that gives everyone a voice and makes our party stronger. We encourage voters across the state to cast their ballots in the Democratic primary to help shape the future of our party and our country.”
