Senate District 14 lies in the heart of central Minnesota: Serving the areas of St. Augusta, St. Cloud, Waite Park and Haven & Minden Townships. Within SD 14 are our two districts for House of Representatives. 14A covers Southwest St. Cloud, Waite Park & St. Augusta. 14B covers the rest of St. Cloud along with Haven & Minden Townships. Statewide we are part of the 6th Congressional District. We hold our monthly Central Committee meeting on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the St. Cloud Library at 7pm, everyone is welcome to attend.

Aric Putnam–Minnesota House
Aric was born at Andrews Air Force Base, where his father returned after the Vietnam War. He’s a teacher at the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University, where he has taught about citizenship and communication for 15 years. He volunteers at Oak Hill and South Junior High, is a member of the Granite Rotary Club, and serves on the board of directors for Promise Neighborhood, LION Community Enrichment Programs, and the Local Education & Activities Fund (LEAF). He’s the proud father of Eliza (14) and Phineas (12) and husband to Laurie, principal of Kennedy Community School.

Your political contributions made to Minnesota political parties and candidates for Minnesota state offices may qualify for a refund.
You can request a Political Contribution Refund if you contribute money to qualified:
- candidates for the Minnesota Legislature;
- candidates for Minnesota governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general
- candidates for Minnesota secretary of state;
- candidates for Minnesota state auditor
- Minnesota political parties
You can only request one refund for each calendar year that you made contributions. Your request can include contributions you made to more than one candidate or party.
What contributions qualify for a refund?
Political contributions you made to eligible state candidates or political parties on or after July 1, 2017. Contributions made before that date do not qualify for a refund.
How much is the refund?
The refund is the amount of your contributions up to $50 for an individual or $100 for a married couple (if you file a joint Political Contribution Refund application).
How do I request a refund?

Send your completed form to the Minnesota Department of Revenue. You must also include copies of the receipts you received for contributions being claimed on your application.
