Cass County DFL

We are your Cass County DFL — Besides planning and host our events such as the Caucus and our annual Convention, we are here to get all of our endorsed candidates elected.  From the local Senate Districts 5 & 9 all the way to our 8th Congressional District and the national offices and races, we help support our candidates by doing everything humanly possible.  Things that we have done in the past include organizing “meet-and-greets”, parade marches, phone banking, door knocking, letter writing, fundraising, putting up lawn signs — whatever needs to be done, that’s what the Cass County DFL does.  The more volunteers we have, the more the Cass County DFL can accomplish.

We are your DFL neighbors and friends — All of our meetings are open to the public and we invite you to not only to come and take in a meeting, but to break bread with us beforehand at our pre-meeting meal.  Our Executive Committee meets the second Monday of every month, with the meeting starting at 6:00 PM and dinner starting at 5:00 PM at various locations around Cass County – check the calendar on the side for that month’s location.

Our Mission

The Cass County DFL,

a unit of the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party, holds as its mission the following:

– To provide organization and support for local, state, and national Democratic candidates;

– To create and sustain interest in the Democratic Party;

– To foster and promote understanding of the issues and ideas contained in our Party Platform;

– To provide a vehicle for participation in the democratic process.
